Summer Brews
With summer comes a slew of new brews from craft and microbreweries across the country. With our new display beer space, we’re taking advantage of the seasonal selection with beers from some our favorites like Anchor Steam, Boulevard, Shiner and Sierra Nevada. To find these beers, look for the giant beer billboards in the northeast section of the store--the seasonal beers are displayed right in front of this new section.
Summer Shiner Stock-- Fashioned after the German Kolsh beers, this brew is fermented warm and aged cold to give a fruity taste and a crisp finish.
Sierra Nevada Summerfest—If the palate doesn’t fancy fruit or citrus flavors, try the solid balance of sweet malt and dry hops of Sierra Nevada’s Summerfest.
Anchor Summer Beer—A refreshingly light flavor of malted wheat
givea this traditional beer a clean flavor.
Pete’s Wicked Summer Brew—This beer offers a different kick with a special blend of pale and wheat malts along with Tettnang hops and a smack of natural lemon.
Sam Adams Summer Ale—If you crave a crisp, tangy, refreshing drink, this wheat ale adds hints of citrus and pepper along with lemon zest.
Boulevard Zon—Flemish for “Sun,” this beer combines subtle flavors of coriander and orange peel to quench the dry summer thirst.
