Martini - Very Dry
2 dashes of dry vermouth
1 1/2 oz. gin or vodka
Pour vermouth into a cocktail or rocks glass. Pour the vermouth out of the glass. If on the rocks, fill the glass with ice and add gin or vodka. If straight up, use a chilled cocktail glass and add the gin or vodka after vermouth has been poured away. Garnish with a lemon twist or an olive.
*The only way to make a martini more dry is to not add any vermouth.
