Condesa de Leganza Crianza • Spain

Condesa de Leganza Crianza is the first wine to be released from the newly revitalized Finca Los Trenzones estate. In confirmation of Julio Martinez’s conviction that La Mancha is a land of enormous promise, its introduction sends an unmistakable message that the La Mancha region can indeed produce superb quality wines.

Faustino Bianco

100% Viura, this dry white wine is a revolution in Rioja. The wine-making process is altered, so that the must begins to ferment completely clean, using enzymes and select Rioja yeasts. Each of these steps ensure a wine with an intensity of aroma not equaled in any other Rioja white.

Jadot Pinot Noir is harmonious and balanced, with a plump fruitiness and silky texture offset by round, gentle tannins in a wine of medium body and elegant structure. The very typical, fragrant varietals bouquet is complemented by a delicious, lingering finish.

Bernardus Chardonnay • Monterey County, California

Bernardus Chardonnay characterizes the classical expression of the vineyards of Monterey County. The grapes picked for this white have been combined with components from other cool coastal vineyards. Together they create what Bernardus refers to as the ‘spice rack appraoch.’ Every delicate nuance from each vineyard, are balanced to create a fabulous Chardonnay. The aromas open with apples, vanilla, clove, and cinnamon, with background notes of tropical fruits and toasty oak. The mouth feel balances the fruit and toastiness with a full mid-palate without heaviness leading to a long gentle finish.

Byington Alliage • California

‘Alliage’ is a French word meaning ‘alloy.’ Old-world viticultural practices have provided a model of how grape varieties enhance, support, and complement each other. Alliage builds on these traditions by combining them with a stylistic flexibility enabled by new-world winemaking technologies. Embracing the belief that the finest wines are often an ‘alloy’ of individual elements. Byington has created a wine that goes beyond one-dimensional varietal character to optimize each element’s contribution.
