The Nahe region is named after the river that traverses the valleys of the forested Hunruck Hills, as it gently flows toward Bingen on the Rhine. It is a peaceful landscape of vineyards, orchards and meadows intersperse with cliffs and striking geological formations. Pine & Post Chardonnay (New)
Washington State
The vineyards of Pine & Post are planted on the east side of the Cascade Mountains, which serve to protect the region from marine weather off the Pacific coast and limit rainfall to just 6 - 8 inches annually. Low rainfall and free-draining soils allow vineyard managers to control vine vigor in order to promote flavor development in the grapes. Scents of mango and peach fill the nose of this straw colored Chardonnay. The palate has a creamy texture with tropical fruit followed by a hint of herbs and a long clean finish.
Pine & Post Merlot (New)
Washington State
The Columbia Valley's hot growing season in 2004 followed by a cool fall created a longer harvest that resulted in wines with ripe, rich flavors. Hot dry weather in August gave way to cooler temperatures and light rain in mid-September, slowing harvest and extending hang time. Warm, dry weather resumed in early October, providing for bright and concentrated fruit. This wine is bursting with aromas of blackberry, black currant and cinnamon, followed by blackberries, currants and hints of smoke on the palate.
Cruz de Piedra Rose (Great for Barbeques!)

Fresh and fruity, it has exuberant concentrated berry flavors (strawberry and raspberry), supported by a magnificent structure, although the tannins are smooth.
