Concannon Chardonnay
California

Concannon Chardonnay, Central Coast is a refreshing wine with crisp fruit flavors. Nice mineral notes and aromatic citrus on the nose segue into green apples and sweet oranges on the palate, and a hint of pineapple lingers in the background. This classic Californian variety has just a touch of oak, and as a result, a supple body and a pleasantly clean finish.

Concannon Cabernet Sauvignon
California

Since 1883, Concannon Vineyard has handcrafted intriguing wines from grapes grown in the San Francisco Bay and California’s Central Coast areas. The austere, rocky soil at our Livermore Valley estate encourages the vines to concentrate flavors in the ripening of its fruit. This Cabernet exhibits a rich nose of violets and cassis, with hints of chocolate and vanilla oak. The flavorful palate shows mulberry fruit, anise, and more oak flavor overtones.

Kaiken Malbec
Argentina

While certainly easy to drink, this head-turner shows surprising complexity and depth. This wine exhibits a wonderful bouquet of peat, dark fruit, and violets followed by a lovely palette that is spectacularly smooth. Perhaps even more enticing is the long, velvety finish that lasts for nearly a minute. Aged for 12 months in French oak, this wine, while drinking beautifully now, could stand another 2-3 years of cellaring to reach its peak.  We continue to expand our offerings from Argentina where Malbec is king.

Pascual Toso Sauvignon Blanc
Argentina

This 'New World' Sauvignon Blanc has good acidity, with a degree of softness. It is quite rich with pink grapefruit, lemon zest and even fig fruit flavors with a full-bodied, almost sweet finish. Very nice color. Fine and delicate citrus and herbs aromas. Very harmonic and balanced in the mouth. A delightful varietal with a clean and sparkling finish. Have as an aperitif or enjoy with pasta, seafood, white meat and vegetarian dishes.

Vina Borgia
Spain

This Spanish red has fresh bright red fruit balanced by a fine structure and ample bouquet.  Vina Borgia is made from 100% Grenache and is a great example of this varietal.  This wine is vinified with utmost care and bottled under the strict supervision of the winemaker.  This is just one of many great Spanish wine values from Jorge Ordonez.  Other wines we now carry include Wrongo Dongo, Protocolo and Fuego Garnacha. You should try them all!

Marques Riscal Rueda White
Spain

This winery was founded in 1858 by Camilo Hurtado de Amezaga, and is one of the oldest wineries in the world. Marques Riscal is a young wine determined by the character of the Verdejo grape variety native to the Rueda area, which forms the basis of this wine together with a small percentage of Viura. Expansive fruity aroma, pale yellow color with subtle greenish highlights and on the palate, initial sensation of smooth acidity which turns to caramel under the tongue. Our Spanish wine section is growing rapidly.

Colosi Rosso Sicilia
Italy

Over the last 25 years or so, the island of Sicily has tranformed itself from an overgrown grape juice factory into a hotbed for cutting edge, fine wines. Its long, arid, sweltering summers allow for extreme ripening of grapes, thus producing ripe, dense, fruit-packed wines. In the last decade some remarkable (and expensive) Sicilian wines have stunned the wine world, but the island is also becoming known as a place for great values. A deep ruby color and an intense nose highlight this stunning Italian Red at a knockout price. Massive cherry and black cassis flavors rush through the palate, leading to a silky smooth finish! Outstanding!!!
