Hogue Fruit Forward Chardonnay • Washington State

During the grape growing season, eastern Washington boasts warm summer days followed by cool nights, insuring that grapes ripen fully while retaining ample natural acidity. This Chardonnay shows that classic balance. Aromas are of pear, apple, cream, toast and butter toast, with a slight smoky note in the background. This would be a great accompaniment to chicken picatta or even grilled Gruyere cheese sandwiches.

Hogue Fruit Forward Cab/Merlot • Washington State

Blending almost equal amounts of each varietal makes the resulting wine a perfect complement to both varietals: the body and character of a Cabernet with the soft richness and a fruit of a Merlot. This wine has a purple/red color, with aromas of blackberry, tobacco and licorice. A chocolaty top note lingers behind the fruit. Perfect for casual conversations, hearty pasta dishes or grilled meats.

March 20th – 26th

Chateau St. Jean Chardonnay • California

Beautiful floral aromas of Plumeria and honeysuckle bring a tropical feel to the nose of this Chardonnay. A rich buttery entry layered with flavors of orange zest, Asian pears and golden delicious apples surrounds a subtle, smoky back note throughout a well-balanced finish.

Echelon Cabernet • California

Black cherries and ripe fruit dominate the aromas in this wine closely followed by a complex combination of cassis and sweet oak. Classic Cabernet character is immediately apparent in the flavors with firm tannic structure and plenty of fruit to carry it across the palate. While ready to drink now, the acidity and balance will help this wine age gracefully for five years or more. Roasted or grilled beef or lamb will go well with this wine.

This white is a complement to any meal including grilled chicken, fresh salmon, lobster, or light pasta dishes.

Gallo of Sonoma Merlot • California

La Boure Roi Chardonnay • France

The grape of white Burgundy and Champagne is now grown with great success all over the world. It is remarkably adaptable to soil and climate, and will always produce a wine with fine rounded fruit that is balanced by good acidity. This wine is no exception, well rounded, with melony fruit with a touch of pineapple. Ripe, soft fruit flavors, but a firm finish. Drink with hors d’oeurves, all sorts of fish, pasta, poultry and white meats, creamy cheeses.
