Paso A Paso Tinto
Spain

"The 2007 Paso a Paso Tinto is 100% Tempranillo sourced from vineyards averaging 40 years of age. The color is a saturated purple with fragrant aromas of mineral, scorched earth, and blackberry. The wine has a big core of fruit with enough structure to evolve for 1-2 years. This savory, lengthy effort can be enjoyed now but will be at its best from 2010 to 2014."

Paso A Paso Verdejo
Spain

Verdejo is a Spanish grape with many similarities to Sauvignon Blanc. The 2007 Paso a Paso is green gold in color, with strong lemon and lime notes on the nose. These same flavors are evident on the palate, as well as pear melon and minerals. The finish is refreshingly crisp. Serve as an aperitif, all kinds of sea food and poultry. The 2007 was rated 89 points by the International Wine Cellar.

Gabbiano Chianti
Italy

The vineyards providing fruit for the 2007 Chianti DOCG are located in the Chianti region of Tuscany at average altitudes of 325 - 650 feet. Gabbiano Chianti is a traditional blend of 90% Sangiovese with small amounts of Canaiolo and Colorino grapes added for color and fruit flavors. The nose exhibits fragrant aromas of violets and a fruity bouquet of red fruits. The dry, medium-bodied palate shows flavors that echo the nose along with round, supple tannins that envelope the mouth, and a finish  This wine would pair well with pizza or spaghetti.

Gabbiano Pinot Grigio
Italy

Fruit for the 2007 Gabbiano Pinot Grigio was sourced from the three districts, Trentino, Veneto, and Friuli-Venezia-Giulia that together form northeast Italy’s Tre Venezie". These districts are bordered on the north by the Julian Alps and Dolomite mountain ranges and on the south by the Adriatic Sea. The average altitude for these hillside vineyards is about 500-650 feet (150-200 meters) above sea level with soil compositions ranging from rocky sand to dry clay. These soils, along with an ideal climate, create some of the best growing conditions for cool weather grape varieties like Pinot Grigio.
