NOVEMBER 30th – DECEMBER 6th

Da Vinci Chianti
Italy

Founded in 1961, DaVinci Winery is located in the Tuscan town of Vinci, nestled between Florence, Pisa and Siena. As a grower's cooperative, DaVinci sources only the finest grapes from premium Chianti and Chianti Classico vineyards. The result is premium, concentrated fruit which is then skillfully crafted into distinctive, stylistically modern Chianti by renowned winemaker Alberto Antonini

Kris Pinot Grigio
Italy

This Italian white is one of the great values in Pinot Grigio. This tank-fermented and aged, light-bodied wine exhibits good texture along with plenty of peach, tangerine, and citrus notes. This fruity, dry Pinot Grigio is ideal for drinking during its first 12 months of life. If you like Pinot Grigio, you have got to try this wine.

DECEMBER 7th -13th

Frei Brothers Chardonnay
California

To ensure that the natural fruit character shines through, the grapes for this Chardonnay were gently squeezed and 100% of the Chardonnay fruit was gravity fed through a whole-cluster press pad to eliminate bitterness that typically results from crusher-destemmers. This medium-bodied Chardonnay expresses bright aromas and complex varietal characters of bright pear, peach and citrus fruit, and displays hints of vanilla and spice. Great value.

Frei Brothers Cabernet Sauvignon
California

Frei Brothers used upright and horizontal rotary fermentors to gently mix a portion of the juice and skins to prevent tannic bitterness. Temperatures were closely monitored and kept at approximately 85º-88º during fermentation to yield a richer, rounder mouth feel and body. After primary fermentation, the wine completed malolactic fermentation to soften the acid structure and to add complexity. Try this with your favorite filet.

DECEMBER 14th -25th (Christmas Week)

J Lohr Arroyo Vista Chardonnay
California

J. Lohr Arroyo Vista Vineyard Chardonnay is a youthful yellow in color, with aromas of white flowers, lime custard, citrus and baked pear. The Burgundian winemaking techniques including alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in barrel with lees stirring and extended aging contribute a complex bouquet of honey and vanilla and amplify an already intensely viscous wine. Long a LW favorite, now $3.00 off our regular price.

J Lohr Hilltop Cabernet Sauvignon
California

Very dark, youthful red-purple in color, the 2003 vintage of J. Lohr Hilltop Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has elegant aromas of black cherries, blackberries and black currants, with a bouquet of mint and toasty oak. The 2003 Hilltop Cabernet is a plump, mouthful of wine with a suppleness and ample texture and balance, reminiscent of Bordeaux’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines. Like all J. Lohr wines, superb.

New Year's Sparkly
DECEMBER 26th – JANUARY 3rd

Roederer Anderson Valley Brut
California

Roederer Estate Anderson Valley Brut builds on the 200-year winemaking tradition established by Champagne Louis Roederer in France. The first California sparkling wine produced by Roederer, the Anderson Valley Brut has established a reputation as one of California's premier sparklers. Equally comfortable with candlelight dinners and summer picnics, the Anderson Valley Brut is not just for toasting! It's also wonderful with egg dishes (think brunch), sushi, spicy Asian food, fish and white meats with creamy sauces.

Veuve Clicquot
France

Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label is a perfect example of harmony between delicacy and power. Dominated by Pinot Noir, this wine has a firm structure, rounded with a touch of Pinot Meunier. The Chardonnay juice gives this sparkler the elegance and finesse needed for perfect balance. Brut Yellow Label has an intense, pleasant fragrance, with fruit and brioche notes.

"J" Sparkling
California

J Brut has citrus, Bosc pear, and light honeysuckle in its initial aromas. Slight nutty and toasty characters follow lending a nice balance to the fruit. The pear and citrus follow through in the mouth and are highlighted with a hint of gingersnap. The small bubbles along with light toasty yeast lend a creaminess that balances with the citrus on the finish.
