This one is from Hard Truth featuring Cinnamon Vodka, a new product on our shelves. Check out the description below.

Crimson Sour

2 oz. Hard Truth Cinnamon Vodka
½ oz. Pear liqueur
½ oz. Fresh lemon juice
½ oz. Cranberry juice
¼ oz. Honey simple syrup

Chill coupe glass.
Add all ingredients to shaker; top with ice; shake until chilled.
Double strain into coupe glass.
Rim glass and stem with lemon peel.
Float lemon peel to garnish.

Emmolo Sauvignon Blanc
Napa & Suisun Valley, California

Guided by the idea that “less is more,” this wine is dry and fresh, with crisp fruit flavors and bright minerality. Some of our grapes come from family vineyards in Napa Valley, with the majority coming from Suisun Valley, a “hidden gem” wine region only 30 minutes from Napa. Suisun shares a similar maritime climate and produces exceptional fruit. Our farming practices enable us to create a wine that is not overly ripe – while also not herbaceous – featuring low alcohol and bright acidity.

Scents: Newly ripened honeydue, white peach, blooming honeysuckle, set stone and traces of savory scone
Flavors: Briht citrus, crisp acidity, zesty kumquat and a mouthwatering freshness on the finish

Smith & Hook Cabernet Sauvignon
Central Coast, California

To craft this classic Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon, our winemakers layer together fruit from small, family-owned vineyards in five unique sub-appellations: San Antonio Valley, Paso Robles, Hames Valley, Arroyo Seco and San Benito County. The result is a lush, rich and expressive Cabernet Sauvignon, hand crafted from California’s spirited Central Coast.

Tasting Notes:
Aromas of blackberry and blueberry with hints of violet, tobacco leaf and cedar. The palate is full-bodied and rich with flavors of dried cranberry and baked blackberry, finishing with a touch of toasty oak and a long, silky finish.

Fleuraison Blanc de Blanc
Spain & Languedoc, France

Fleuraison (Flowering) Blanc de Blancs is made from the white Arien Grape, and is grown in the La Mancha region of Spain. The first fermentation takes place in Spain under cool temperatures to make a 'base' wine that is fresh and fruity - with good acidity. After the wine is stabilized, it is shipped to the Languedoc, where our sparkling wine experts create the second fermentation under pressure - using specific yeasts specially selected for sparkling wine. After the second fermentation, the wines are bottled at '4' atmospheres and finished with real corks and a bright foil capsule. The resulting 'Vin Mouseaux' has a fine perfume of flowers (Fleuraison) and bread dough, with butter, almond and hazelnut flavors in the mouth.

An unusual blend of 80% White Airen and 20% Chardonnay, this easy-drinking, briskly concentrated vin mousseux suggests tart grapefruit and pear accented by racy acidity. Soft in effervescence and delicate in body.

Times were tough but these individuals were tougher and they overcame adversity and insurmountable odds to ultimately claim redemption.

10% Muscat Alexandria, 26% White Riesling, 28% French Colombard, 36% Mixed White

Great Heart Chardonnay
Cape Town, South Africa

100% Chardonnay. Sourced from a single vineyard, planted is deep loam-rich soils on the lower slopes of Helderberg Mountain.

Tasting Notes:
The wine has a light pale straw color and exudes white Phylica (fynbos) blossom and melba toast on the nose. It awakens the palate with a superb whetstone minerality, thanks to its racy acidity and enticing flavors of fresh Granny Smith apple and candied lemon rind. This rich wine displays complexity and finesse with a broad brioche-like mid-palate and prickly limestone drives the focused and lingering finish.

Chandon Garden Spritz

Chandon Garden Spritz was inspired by the well-known Argentine penchant for moreish bitter flavors such as yerba mate and Fernet –aromas that tantalize the palate. Add in the exceptional quality of the local Valencia oranges, and you have the perfect authentic summer serve. It is the perfect balance between sweetness and bitterness. Garden Spritz pairs beautifully with spicy Asian food, sushi and sashimi, old cheddar, dried exotic fruits and nuts.

Gaston Shiquet Brut

As its name implies, a classic blended Champagne: 40% Pinot Meunier, 35% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir, incorporating base wines from more than one harvest.

Tasting Notes:
Golden yellow hue, fine mousse.
Fresh nose of dried fruit (apricot) with a hint of citrus.
Smooth palate (Meunier); fresh, balanced and fruity (fresh apricot, white peach, citrus); aromatic finish.

Winemaker Notes:
A Pinot Noir with fine, ripe sour cherries and blackcurrant aromas. On the palate it is charming, juicy and easy to drink.

Chiara Pinot Noir

Discovering this luxurious Pinot Noir in Pfalz, Germany was beyond magnificent! Historically known for producing some of the top Riesling wines, this terroir has evolved into a hidden gem, producing one of the most exquisite and affordable Pinot Noirs in the world. 

Gorgeous, silky and elegant. Velvety flavors of cherry and raspberry linger on the palate, followed by a touch of vanilla and spice. Taste the beautiful complexity.

Chateau Vrai Caillou Bordeaux

The Vrai Caillou estate has been in the Pommier family since 1863. It has passed down through the generations, first from father to son and then from father to daughter. Vrai Caillou wines are the result of a long family tradition which has developed alongside the estate's endless rows of vines

Tasting Notes:
Generous aromas of berries (red and dark) with a touch of spices. Round and juicy palate.

4 NEW Wines from Kermit Lynch

Saint Joseph Blanc
Northern Rhone, France

Kermit Lynch began collaborating with Philippe Faury in the blending of his blancs in the 1990s because he was—unusually at the time—particular about wanting the wines he imported to remain unfiltered. Today, Kermit Lunch continues to work with Lionel in selecting the blend of parcels and aging vessels that contribute to this bottling. The 2018 is roughly 85% Marsanne and 15% Roussanne, and mostly aged in tank to preserve as much freshness and fruit as possible. The little bit of wine that was aged in oak will give you a delightful glimmer of opulence. The result is very delicate, round, and elegant, showcasing classic notes of peachy stone fruit.

Lionel Faury Condrieu
Northern Rhone, France

A jewel of a wine from Kermit Lynch: "Condrieu has the best terroir in the world for the Viognier grape. That is not to say, however, that it is easy to make great Viognier here. Without a gifted vigneron, the wine will veer into flabbiness. It takes significant skill and experience to make a Condrieu of finesse. Even though the grape is relatively low in acidity, the sandy soils and Lionel’s touch render this blanc remarkably fresh and mineral."

93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Tasted from tank, the 2020 Condrieu is marginally less concentrated than the superb 2019 version while also being a bit fresher and livelier. Floral notes dominate, while the stone fruit and pineapple notes linger easily on the finish.

Chateau Graville Graves Blanc
Bordeaux, France

Another delightful wine from Kermit Lynch: "This year we may not have been able to host our annual parking lot oyster party, Oyster Bliss, but you can recreate it in your backyard or nearby park with two simple ingredients: a few dozen oysters from your local fish market and a bottle of this exquisite blend of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle from the left bank of the Garonne. Or if oysters aren’t your thing, try goat cheese and a fresh crusty baguette. Whatever snacks are on your table or picnic blanket, this blanc will fit the bill with its crisp, elegant profile and pretty notes of green apple, citrus, and subtle tropical fruits."

Another one from Kermit Lynch: "Right down the road from André Perret’s Condrieu vines, Lionel Faury produces this classic, gorgeous Saint Joseph. Lionel has had a large part in bringing the appellation its deserved acclaim in recent years, crafting reds that are incredibly transparent and expressive. Evoking dark fruit, smoke, and black olives, this rouge is a perfect match for pita and roasted cauliflower hummus or grilled rosemary lamb chops."

Pierre Sparr Riesling
Alsace, France

Pierre Sparr is a prestigious estate located in the heart of Alsace that makes exceptional wines with great personality.

The pre-eminent king of Alsace wine. A noble, dry wine with a beautiful floral bouquet followed by citrus, peach and mineral flavors on the lingering finish. Perfect aperitif or match it with shellfish, fish, and chicken.

Teutonic Pear Blossom Gewurztraminer
Columbia Gorge, Oregon

Influenced by the Middle-Mosel Valley in Germany and the Alsace region in France, Teutonic Wine Company celebrates the characteristics of these wine regions in Oregon. Only working with cool-climate growing sites, adhering to natural farming practices and minimal intervention, Teutonic wines reflect all that is natural in winemaking, from the vineyard, to the cellar, and to the bottle. Teutonic’s house style is consistent throughout its catalog of wines – crisp, bright and with balanced acidity, making them easy to pair with many dishes. 2021 Gewurztraminer: A beautiful expression of extended skin contact Gewürztraminer. This wine is lush and tastes of lychee and and white peaches and as always, beautifully balanced with bright acidity. The mouth feel on this wine is amazing.

Lovely fruit from the Columbia Gorge, dry farmed, spicy and floral. Perfect with Asian dishes and as always, fatty foods, sausages, charcuterie and the like.

Kreu Gluhwien
Mosel, Germany

Back in stock @ Liquor World. Tis the season for German Gluhwein, which literally translates to glow-wine, traditional German mulled wine.

Walla Walla, Washington

A collaboration between Scottie Pippen and Dave Phinney that focuses on distinguished and mature Bourbon Whiskey.

Each barrel is hand-selected for it’s unique attributes by Dave & Scottie. The youngest Bourbon in the blend is five years old. The barrels were sourced from Indiana and Tennessee and aged at Savage & Cooke on historic Mare Island.

75% Corn, 21% Rye, 4% Malted Barley

In a true reflection of Scottie, the mature Bourbon is lush, velvety and a pleasure to drink with no hard edges.  DIGITS is packed with flavors of vanilla bean, caramel, buttered toast and maple.  Enjoy neat or on the rocks.

Rey Campero Pechuga

Rey Campero Pechuga de Codorniz is a unique mezcal pechuga composed of quail, pineapple, banana, and corn cobs.

Rey Campero Pechuga de Codorniz is made with Maguey Espadin (Agave angustifolia) in Candelaria Yegole, Oaxaca. Unlike pechuga mezcal from many producers, maestro mezcalero Vicente Sánchez Parada only distills this mezcal twice. After the first distillation, he adds about 25 grilled quail breasts (codorniz is Spanish for quail), grilled pineapple, grilled banana, and grilled corn cobs. After distillation, it is rested in glass for 3 months before being bottled.

Siembra Valles Azul Blanco

This peppery lowlands blanco boasts the region’s famous volcanic minerality. It’s unmistakably Valles, and is favored by bartenders for its versatility and character.

Jimador Manuel Romero harvests agave for Siembra Valles, with Cascahuín mountain in the background. Cascahuín means “hill of light,” as the mountain attracts lightning from passing storms. It’s the defining topographical feature of the region, and all Siembra Valles tequilas are distilled at family-owned Destileria Cascahuín.

At Faccia Brutto we produce natural and delicious organic Italian spirits using old world methods, and sourcing from sustainable botanical producers.

Faccia Brutto Centerbe

Note from distiller: Centerbe Faccia Brutto is our take on a European herbal liqueur that is both refreshing and delicious. We use a number of fresh and dried herbs in our blend and macerate them in non-GMO neutral grain spirit. The dried botanicals like lemon balm, anise hyssop, nettles and coriander are macerated for a full week, while the fresh herbs like parsley, tarragon, bay leaves and marjoram are left overnight to preserve color and freshness. The resulting tincture is proofed down and sweetened with organic cane sugar and bottled at a rousing 45% ABV.

Faccia Brutto Fernet Pianta

Note from distiller: Fernet Pianta is a love letter to both my grandfather, Peter Pianta, as well as all the line cooks I ever worked with. Pete would make tinctures for my grandmother when she needed some digestive aid and my line cook buddies, well, we needed relief after a long night of service. We blend 21 ingredients including saffron, myrrh, aloe ferox, peppermint and gentian root in non-GMO neutral grain spirit for two weeks. We add water and filter, then add sugar and organic peppermint oil and bottle. This fernet has far less sugar than the bigger brands and is naturally colored with roasted chicory root. Enjoy neat or in a Toronto cocktail.

Franco Amaro Noveis

Tasting Notes:
Located in the foothills of the alps in the alto Piemonte region of Ghemme, the Distillerie Francoli makes this antique amaro recipe from a blend of fine spirits and bitter mountain herbs sourced for decades in the surrounding area. Notes include tarragon, wild mint, sarsaparilla, espresso, candied orange and chocolate hazelnut.

Goodnight Loving Vodka
